This will be my 23nd year teaching Math and my 10th year teaching at James Denman Middle School in San Francisco.

I teach because I enjoy working with young people. I would like to give them access to the same opportunities that I had when I was growing up, and to prepare them well for an increasingly competitive world. I want to help raise expectations and standards for my students, who think are brilliant and amazing and capable of doing anything.
